The creative wonderful people who do all of the clever stuff all have their own fascinating stories. Sound Ideas' Jason Thompson and his trusty band of freelance webfolk are always ready to help, but just who are they? Prepare to meet them now.

Sound Ideas founder and senior internet developer & consultant, Jason has been working in the multimedia industry for several years. Formerly a music technology teacher and later a lecturer in Multimedia Design, Jason has experience in sound production and music composition as well as in the Graphics and Internet related areas. Jason's remit is to develop web sites, CD-ROM resources and deliver E-media consultancy, ranging from simple advice about switching a computer on to very complex clever things that he alone understands.

Tim is a freelance graphic designer with many years experience gained in the design to print and advertising industries. Through his company - THE ARTSTUDIO, he has worked for a wide range of clients, mainly on corporate print and graphics, and typographically based projects. His Norwegian ruggedness and excellent table-manners make him perfectly suited to those jobs which require tact, diplomacy, skill, judgement and herring.

A 'general expert' is probably the best way to describe Dave. With a huge range of experience from databases, CGI and server stuff, to training on Microsoft Office software, email and web wonderment, Dave has had a 'techie' role in a large number of Sound Ideas projects. He can install ADSL, muck about with Perl, and usually come up with solutions for hitherto impossible demands. And he can fix computers too - what an amazing bloke.

Colin is a freelance designer with many years experience in the music and media industries. Colin runs the Tiree office. He draws upon his background in fine art and photography to develop unique design solutions for clients. He is almost single-handedly developing web sites for the entire west coast of Scotland, and hopes one day to be Tiree's first Internet Tycoon. And as if all that weren't enough, he can do paintings and make pots and that too.

International recording artist and contemporary dancer Andy likes nothing more than a rigorous gymnastics workout every morning at 5:30. So invariably, it's nothing that wins and he stays in bed until teatime. Although he does no real work for Sound Ideas - or to our knowledge for anyone - he is nevertheless a tireless creative who will regularly check his emails. Look at him.
