INDIGO COLONY. http://www.indigocolony.co.uk

Indigo Colony emerged from what they call the ‘mean streets of Whitley Bay’ in 2003 and quickly made a reputation for themselves on the North East music scene as a band to watch.
Their limited edition album of early songs In an Hour showed that there was more to them than just a great live band. Since then their music – and their audience – has developed.

Hard to define their image: melodic indie rock, stylish, original but with a sense of humour and a worldly charm that belies their relative youth. From moving mournful songs of love and loss through to upbeat celebration of the simple pleasure of getting a girl to go out with you.
Yes, I remember that simple pleasure
